Eighty Two is Kuwait’s most exciting amateur 6v6 football league, running from 14th of November 2025 to 7th of February 2026. Teams battle over 11 weeks for a spot in the Finals Day and ultimate bragging rights.

Location

Matches will take place at a turf field at Mishref Oasis Football fields, and other locations will be announced shortly. Venue details will be announced soon, with easy access and on-site parking for players and fans.

Registration Details

Registration opens 01/10/2025 exclusively through the official website. Spots are extremely limited, and teams will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis after payment.

• Age Requirement: 18+ (Amateurs only, no pro players)

• Team Size: 8–12 players per team

• Registration Fee: 250 KD per team

League Format

The competition runs on a points system for 11 weeks. Every team plays each other once, and only the best move on.

• Top 4 Teams: Advance to Finals Day

• Points System: Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, Loss = 0

• Tiebreakers: Goal difference, head-to-head, then goals scored

Finals Day

Semi-finals: 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd. Winners face off in the grand final to determine the Eighty Two champion. Expect trophies, cash prizes, and a show to remember.

Matches Schedule

When does registration start?

Registration opens on 01 October 2025 through our official website. No offline registration will be accepted.

What is the minimum and maximum team size?

Teams must have at least 8 players and can register up to 12 players for flexibility.

What is the age requirement?

Players must be 18 years or older and amateurs. Professional players are not eligible.

What is the registration fee?

The team entry fee is 250 KD, covering pitch, referees, and operations for the entire season.

How many teams can join?

There are only 12 available team slots, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-paid basis.

What format does the league follow?

The league runs as a points-based system across 11 weeks. The top 4 teams qualify for Finals Day.

What happens on Finals Day?

The top 4 play semi-finals, and winners meet in the grand final for trophies, medals, and cash prizes.

What if two teams finish with the same points?

Tiebreakers: Goal difference → Head-to-head → Goals scored.

What gear do players need?

Matching jerseys with numbers are mandatory and will be provided by Eighty Two management. Shin guards and turf boots are strongly recommended.

Can we add players later?

Yes, during designated transfer windows announced by the league, all individual registrations will be contacted to discuss team allocation with team captains with available team spots. (An admin fee may apply).

Will matches still happen if it rains?

Yes, unless conditions are unsafe. The league will make the final decision.

Are referees certified?

Yes, certified referees by Kuwait’s Football Association will officiate all matches, and their decisions are final.

Is there medical support on-site?

Yes, qualified medical personnel will be present every game week.

Can fans attend?

Yes, it’s a family-friendly event with a dedicated spectator area.

Are refunds possible if we withdraw?

Refunds are not available after payment, except if the league is canceled.
